As your next Probate/Juvenile Court Judge, my first priority is the well-being of our children. The Juvenile Court is more than a courtroom; it is a shield for the vulnerable. I am committed to:


  • Strengthening the CASA Program: Supporting court-appointed special advocates who give a voice to children in neglect and abuse cases.

  • Prioritizing Early Intervention: Addressing ‘unruly’ or ‘delinquent’ behavior early through rehabilitative programs that keep families together and set kids on the path to becoming productive citizens.

  • Ensuring Accountability: Holding the system and individuals accountable to ensure no child in Geauga County slips through the cracks.”

& Security

Justice cannot exist without security. I will ensure our legal system provides a stable foundation for every resident, from our youth to our seniors. My plan includes:

 

  • Public Safety First: Maintaining a Juvenile Court that balances fair rehabilitation with firm consequences to protect our neighborhoods from juvenile crime.

  • Protecting Our Seniors: Enhancing oversight in the Probate Division to prevent the financial exploitation of seniors and ensuring that guardianships are managed with the highest ethical standards.

  • Operational Excellence: Modernizing court security and efficiency so that every citizen feels safe, respected, and heard when they enter the courthouse.

Defend Our
Constitutions

A judge’s role is to be a faithful servant of the law, not a legislator from the bench. I believe in the enduring strength of the U.S. Constitution and the Ohio Constitution. My judicial philosophy is rooted in:

 

  • Judicial Restraint: Interpreting the law according to its original text and intent, ensuring that Geauga County residents receive predictable, impartial justice.

  • Protecting Individual Rights: Vigilantly defending the fundamental rights guaranteed to every citizen—including parental rights, property rights, and due process.

  • Separation of Powers: Respecting the distinct roles of the executive and legislative branches to prevent government overreach and maintain the checks and balances our founders intended.
